Holiday Hunger

The Holiday Hunger Appeal
We know that on average parents spend more money on food during the school holidays and for some families this pressure is just too much, often resulting in food insecurity. Holiday hunger can affect the whole family and research has shown that some parents are skipping their own meals to feed their children.
Foodshare provides extra support during the school break with their Holiday Hunger Project, this has now been running for over 5 years. Every family with children of school age receive extra food support in the form of healthy lunchtime meals, snacks, drinks, and fruit.
Noone should ever go hungry, we are here to help.
