FoodShare Ambassador Jules Thomas

Jules works in the recording industry as a music editor and has lived in Maidenhead for over twenty years. She has been a volunteer with FoodShare since 2022.

Jules grew up in the South Wales valleys, where her family ran the village post office for over a hundred years. She knows first-hand how important it is to support everyone in the community, often in quiet, simple ways, and she is committed to giving something back to the community where she now lives.

At FoodShare, Jules is part of the warehouse team, sorting, dating, and storing donations. She is also one of the lead volunteers working with the young people who come to us as part of the DofE programme.

As an Ambassador, Jules is focused on raising awareness of the work that FoodShare does in our community, helping people understand how significant the unseen need is, and how small acts of giving can really add up.
