Welcome to Foodshare's Food Hub!
We are dedicated to helping individuals and families who struggle with food insecurity.
Our goal is to provide assistance with dignity, ensuring that those who come to us for help are treated with the utmost respect and care.
If you or someone you know is living in and around Maidenhead and are unable to eat at least one full day during a week, we are here to help. Our catchment area covers Maidenhead and the surrounding neighbourhoods, so don't hesitate to reach out if you're in need.
If you're not located within our catchment area, don't worry. There are other organizations that may be able to assist you. The Windsor Foodshare, Slough Foodbank, and One Can Trust (serving High Wycombe and Beaconsfield) are all groups that offer similar services to Foodshare.

Emergency Requests Service
If you find yourself struggling to put food on the table, there are resources available to help. Around 100 organisations in the area are able to determine if Foodshares Foodbank is the right solution for your situation. They can issue vouchers that enable you to collect food once a week.
If you're unsure of where to start, here are a few suggestions.
If you have a child in school, start by asking the school. They may be able to connect you with resources or point you in the right direction.
Alternatively, a health visitor or children's services may also be able to provide assistance.
If you're already working with a support agency, your support worker may be able to offer guidance or assistance as well.
For general inquiries, contacting the Citizen's Advice Bureau can be helpful. They can provide a wide range of information and advice.
Finally, if you're in social housing, reach out to your housing association. They may have additional resources available to you.
No matter your situation, there are people who are ready and willing to help. Don't be afraid to reach out and ask for assistance when you need it.
Providing quick assistance.
At Foodshare, we strive to ensure that nobody goes hungry in their time of need. We recognise that some people may be in such dire circumstances that they don't have the time to organise a voucher before seeking assistance. That is why we ask you to contact us as soon as possible.
We have a 24-hour voucher line where we are able to issue one emergency voucher to attend our Wednesday 5pm or Saturday 10 am food collection. *Please note that emergency vouchers can only be issued if you are unable to receive a voucher in time from our various referral sources..01628 262 711
We understand that time is of the essence, so we will promptly process your request and provide you with a voucher.
We want to remind everyone that our Voucher Line Service is exclusively for those who are experiencing a genuine one-off crisis and unable to get a voucher in time from one of our many referrers. Once you've received the voucher and have enough food to sustain you, we will help connect you with a referrer for future assistance if required.
Our aim is to make sure that those who are struggling with hunger have the necessary resources to overcome it. Our website is a valuable resource that you can visit for further information. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you're facing a difficult situation and require food assistance.
We are here to help you get through this tough time.
